The wooden stand of the electric vehicle will be presented on the innovation stand

In the exhibition part of RIGA COMM 2021, SIA PILOT Automotive Labs Europe, within the framework of the project Woodpecker, will present the wooden electric vehicle platform.
Within the framework of the global ecological vehicle project Woodpecker, an electric vehicle platform has been designed and manufactured in Latvia, the construction of which is based on birch plywood.
One of the main ideas of the project is to create a multifunctional, environmentally friendly vehicle that is suitable for the needs of different industries and that can be easily adapted to the task at hand.
The vehicle platform is fully electronically controlled – with a remote control, remotely or programmed for autonomous movement. By adding body components, it becomes a small car with all the usual steering wheel control.
