In early October, entrepreneurs, business process managers, local government representatives, and tech professionals gathered at the RIGA COMM 2022 Baltic business tech fair and conferences to gain knowledge, to network, and to find the right tools to achieve digital transformation.

93 participants from 15 countries joined the exhibition at RIGA COMM 2022.Among them were international companies like the cloud software developer Salesforce, and its certified European consultant and partner GBC Team, the Estonian financial company Wallester, among others. The guests got a chance to discover effective digital solutions and reliable tech partners.

This year’s RIGA COMM had a total of 16 partners, six of which were companies with international visibility.

‘Excellently organised event and nice organiser support, down to the finest details. Our team is really happy with the results,’ Juri Dushko, CEO of GBC Team, partner of the Digital Stage, said.

‘Thanks so much for organising such a great event that brought many business tech fields to one place. I hope it was a success in general, and for its participants,’ Alexandra Li, event manager of the Executive Stage partner Wallester, said.

This year, we had a record number of speakers — 148 from 13 countries — who shared their knowledge and experience during 10 conferences, which took place on 5 stages. As usual, RIGA COMM hosted conferences in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, HR Tech , Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Fintech , as well as Women in Tech. The ‘Sijā auzas!’ (‘Sieve the oats!’) influencer conference was held for the second time.

‘Right now, influencers are one of the most effective communication channels, as they not only inspire and encourage thousands of people to act, but have also taken over a significant slice of advertising budgets. So it is a great pleasure to see the influencer conference getting such a good response, with 21 exciting speakers giving talks, with influencers, opinion leaders, representatives of brands and agencies, government agencies that regulate and supervise this field discussing all aspects of business,’ BT 1 Communication manager Aiga Kupre said.

In view of the current global events, this year’s fair included its first cyber security and Web3 conferences, as well as a B2B marketing workshop.

‘We are incredibly happy to see this year that the Women in Tech stage continues to attract a large audience. It clearly shows that women have a place in tech, and that diversity and successful inclusion in this field are always something to aspire to,’ Anna Andersone, board member of the Women in Tech conference partner Riga TechGirls, praised the event.

During its two days, RIGA COMM 2022 was attended by 2418 business and technology professionals.

The BT 1 International Exhibition Company organised the event, in conjunction with its partners: Wallester, Intelligent Machines Riga, Riga TechGirls, Finance Latvia Association, LCCI, Salesforce, GBC Team, Checkout.com, TVNET GRUPA, Alter, Riga City Council, BT 1 Communication and others.
