RIGA COMM 2019 experiences a record number of visitors

The 8th Baltic Business Technology Exhibition and Conference RIGA COMM took place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre on October 10 and 11. The exhibition section this year featured 111 exhibitors from 13 countries – developers and suppliers who offered a vast variety of products and services including HR management systems and web solutions as well as providers of cloud, internet and digital marketing services and innovative Latvian-made IT and electronics solutions.
The versatile conference part continued to be a great success for RIGA COMM. The two-day event offered 10 events on 5 stages with the participation of 120 experts representing Latvian enterprises and global operators from Brazil, the UK, Sweden, Germany, Finland and other countries, who shared their knowledge and expertise.
“In today’s digital era, technology has made communication more convenient, but nothing is more effective than on-the-spot communication, so we are pleased that RIGA COMM has become a meeting point for industry representatives from both Latvia and neighbouring countries,” pointed out Andris Breške, a manager of the business technology exhibition and conference.
Totally 4994 visitors, or by 4% more than last year, attended the event to see the latest technology, choose the right business solutions, find new business partners, gain new knowledge and inspiration at conferences.
The Women in Tech Conference aimed to encourage women to join the tech industry was held for the first time this year. The Human + Intelligent Machine Conference, a follow-up to the Machine Learning Conferences of previous years, covered process automation using artificial intelligence and forecasting tools. There was also a strong interest from the audience in the IoT, digital marketing, smart HR and future work conferences.
This year, for the first time, visitors and participants of RIGA COMM had access to a special app that helped make it easier to arrange meetings in the matchmaking area to start new or strengthen existing partnerships.
