Explore the newest technologies at the Baltic Business Technology Conference “RIGA COMM 2024”

On 3-4 October, during the Baltic business technology fair and conference “RIGA COMM 2024”, Ķīpsala International Expo Centre at Riga will turn into a venue where business owners, IT and business development professionals will be able to learn about newest trends in the world of technology, meet industry experts and discuss potential partnerships.

This year’s “RIGA COMM” will attract more than 100 ICT developers and suppliers from Baltic and other countries. The overall number of countries represented will exceed 10. Two-day event will also include presentations by more than 150 speakers from 12 countries. There will be 12 different conferences that will take place on one of the six stages.

Digital sales tools and strategies

Newest and most efficient e-commerce tools and strategies will be at the focus of “RIGA COMM 2024” E-commerce conference on the Salesforce & LeverUP Digital stage. LeverUP CEO, co-founder and MarTech expert Daria Nemchonok will kick the conference off with a keynote speech on how to make all available communication channels into sales channels. Meanwhile, Swedbank Head of Cash Management Sales Support Department Valdis Vaišļa will highlight the findings of a research on current consumer behaviour and payment patterns and preferences.

The second day of “RIGA COMM”, 4 October, will bring Digital marketing conference during which representatives of companies like Aleph Holding, Digital Matter, Not Scheduled, Netrocket, Smaily, Talonic AI and others will present their perspective on the digital marketing industry. Aleph Holding regional sales manager Amit Vaghasiya will explain how to utilise and maximise the efficiency of TikTok advertising. Innovative financial tools

Fintech conference will take place on Executive stage on 3 October. Conference partner Inbank Latvija and its head Dainis Skrinda will present the audience ways to promote e-commerce through integration of innovative financial technologies.  Artūrs Piliksers, Board Member of Bonusukarte.lv, will talk about role of fintech in gaining tax advantages. Discussion with panellists from Finday.lv, Latvia State Radio and Television Centre, SEB, Riga Technical University and Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development will focus on what businesses and general population need to know about EU Digital Identity Wallet.

How to protect your business in the digital age

Cybersecurity conference, which will take place on the second day of “RIGA COMM” on the Executive stage, will focus on digital security for digital production with keynote speech from Sashi Bakka, UST Regional Head – Continental Europe. Artur Bicki, CEO at Energy Logserver, will present ways to use AI to boost SOC operations. Researching Web 3.0

Web3 conference will be opened by co-founder and CEO of Fideum Group Anastasija Plotnikova who will talk about first steps in buying and selling crypto currencies. Topic of crypto currencies will be further explored by panellists during two exciting discussions on what Latvian banks think about crypto and whether you need a licence to engage in crypto businesses. Machine learning and artificial intelligence

There has been a growing interest in use of AI to automate various processes in recent years. That is why Ēvalds Urtāns, CEO of Asya and Pitch Patterns, will present various business case studies that involve the use of AI agents to automate various processes – from client support to social media content creation and outreach to potential clients. Whereas Mārcis Pinnis, Chief AI Officer at Tilde, will explain why simple RAG solutions can slow companies down, especially when company has highly demanding needs.

IoT & PropTech conference will be attended by Nokia Nordic’s Enterprise PWLs Campus Sales Manager Lorena Gomez Gaviria who will talk about how5G can reinvigorate digital industries and community. Technologies and human resource optimisation

On 3 October, Artūrs Banga, Usability analyst and expert at Elva, will take the Smart stage to present 5 strategies for promoting employee engagement. Meanwhile, Jean Mauris, co-founder and product manager of Avokaado, will explain how to rationalise various documentation and processes. Women in tech

Women in Tech, a conference urging more women to join tech, will be held for the sixth time during the “RIGA COMM 2024”. On 4 October, female speakers from Amazon Web Services, Women Go Tech, Cognizant, Mentoring Academy and other business players will take to the Smart stage to share their experience of facing challenges and unlocking opportunities in the world of IT and technology.
