IT Solution Fair

RIGA COMM is the only IT Solution Fair in the Baltic states. This year, it will take place on 9 and 10 November at the International Exhibition Centre in Riga. The fair aims to promote the modernisation of companies, organisations and state and municipality institutions, to make their work more efficient. Read more

About the Fair
RIGA COMM showcases the most significant digital achievements of the year. The content of the fair is suitable both for companies, which are not related to the digital industry, and those which are directly involved in the information technology (IT) industry. The content of the fair has been developed and the events organised to ensure that company managers and specialists receive the latest information, inspiration and solutions, fit for their work.
The format of the fair allows visitors to compare computer programs and solutions first-hand, evaluate various digital devices and innovations, meet IT and business professionals, and start negotiations on cooperation regarding the successful introduction of new products or services.
It is expected that the 2016 fair and its events will be visited by 3000 owners of small and medium companies, company and department managers, digital technology professionals and other industry specialists from Latvia and abroad.

Fair at the stands – developers and manufacturers of digital solutions, devices and services and their representatives from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and other countries. The latest offers for companies of various industries and sizes, organisations, and state and municipality institutions. Content:

Maker + Gadget Show – new at RIGA COMM

Smart watches, fitness trackers, smart security cameras and systems, drones of various sizes and specialisation, lawn mowing robots, refrigerators with an internet connection, etc. Both the electronics giants and small startups offer a lot of new gadgets for daily life, home, work, hobbies, games and health, as well as for driving and cycling. It is speculated that very soon people will not even be able to imagine their life without different gadgets.Read more

This year, the fair presents something new, the Maker + Gadget Show, where you will be able to see and try out various devices and gadgets, including smart and innovative objects made by Latvian companies, engineers and enthusiasts. It might be in this particular area where the visitors will find partners for their company or ideas for business development!

smart wearable things, which inform, protect and entertain their wearer; things, which help medics to diagnose and treat patients more accurately and efficiently; factory machine tools, which communicate with warehouses and service equipment regarding the necessary maintenance or repairs; freight and smart shipments, which coordinate their own logistics and ensure the best transportation conditions; etc.

Internet connection, remote data processing and suitable sensors will allow any organisation to create smart systems, which will ensure more productive and efficient manufacturing and services. How can the Internet of Things change our daily lives, the work of companies, maintenance of cities or even the functioning of an entire country? What opportunities does the Internet of Things give and what will it give to entrepreneurs? Examples, information and discussions at the first conference on the Internet of Things in the Baltics. The content will be of interest to anyone, but it will certainly be useful for professionals of various industries, entrepreneurs, and heads of municipalities.

Horizon 2020 Latvian Matchmaking

HORIZON 2020 is the European Commission’s research and innovation programme, which brings together European entrepreneurs and innovative scientists to find new ideas and cooperation partners. The last matchmaking in Latvia took place in October 2016 with 130 participants, half of which were foreign representatives.Read more

This year, for the first time, the HORIZON 2020 Latvian Matchmaking will take place during the RIGA COMM fair. We welcome all small and medium companies, universities and research centres, which would like to participate in HORIZON 2020 projects and are looking for cooperation partners.

The Matchmaking event will consist of approximately 20 minute long, pre-booked meetings with representatives of foreign companies, universities and research centres. These meetings will give you a chance to present your innovative ideas to several potential cooperation partners from different industries in one day.

The registered participants will be able to apply for individual meetings with the chosen foreign participants of matchmaking. The profiles of all companies registered for matchmaking will be published on the event’s website, which will help everyone to identify potential cooperation partners and pre-book individual meetings.

Time: On November 9 at the special area at the RIGA COMM 2017 fair. Prior application mandatory.

Open Stage

Taking into account the big demand for the Open Stage last year, this year it will also feature practical, useful and interesting presentations by experts, and discussions on technologies and business development by practitioners. The content will be suitable for entrepreneurs, specialists and IT professionals of a whole spectrum of industries.

Time: 9 – 10 November. Admission for the visitors and participants of RIGA COMM 2017.

Public transport: To reach us from the city centre, take the bus No. 37, 41 or 59 at the Esplanade bus stop or get on the trolleybus No. 5, 12 or 25 running along Kr. Valdemāra Street. The journey by taxi from Riga International Airport takes about 7 minutes.
